Sikh Folk Music
Nāmdhārī Sikh Folk Music may be considered music for protest, for remembering and for transcendence. The Nāmdhārīs, a puritanical sect of Sikhism produced powerful and highly effective modes of resisting British occupation through music is a sonic weapon.
